When to Harvest Potatoes - Simplest Method!


I started a project where you put cut roses into a potato to start new plants. The only new plants I got was potatoes 😂 Re-potted out of small pot into planter bed. Can’t wait to harvest. Mid-spring in Australia so won’t be long 😋
Hi any recommendations of variety of potato that isn’t very big or spread?
I looked out the window one day and saw a bunch of big potato plants in the compost, so thank you for this info!

Hi mate,I did what you said with the easy video where you just plant old potatoes into soil then mulch them.Its seems to have worked! my mum also gave me a tip of each eye could grow extra potatoes.I did this and just wanted to throw in that tip to you which you may already know.I will let you know my progress :)
