Sven what do you think about Russian stock PhosAgro Jim Rogers is an investor in this company
Interesting points. I notice a few of these stocks have covered call returns in the 3 to 4% range. Thanks for info.

is major supplier of food to China. Interested in your thoughts on this company...
Great video Sven. What do you think about CGA?
Gotta buy low and sell high! That's what it all comes back to! I don't think I will be personally investing in food stocks, but based on the down-trend in the GSCI, I do see the long-term potential. And I mean, people gotta eat so these agricultural giants will definitely be holding value!

a way to play fruit and vegetables is Fresh del monte produce FDP. with people moving away from processed to fresh foods could have bright future. small 1.3% yield but should be able to keep up with inflation.
Potato joke is actually funny, made my day
Potatoes are my life :)
Invest in soil and nutrients for soil both because of dwmand for food and marijuana!
I knew it was only a matter of time before you did a 'potato craze' video. Let's hope it makes Tulip Mania look tame. :)
Could you talk about your own perfomance and your education/career in one of your next videos?
On a serious note, there was surplus of potato in India this year... many farmers lost a lot... now they will move away from it and next year might be opposite.... sad for them
Hi Sven, If you have time you should check Verde Agritech, NPK. micro cap in Brazil, with potential multibagger upside.
As far as I reckon ADM is valued correctly right now. There is some debt, which has increased and they process around the same metric tonnes as they have done the last years. So personally I don´t see it as a bargain. But in the light of your great analyze on macro trends it still might be a great case because I do share your view on this as a defensive investment. Thanks for a great channel & keep up the good work!
I consider the risk of food is very high by weather as climate change is just starting. You should select stocks with weatherproof strategies.
This reminds me of the Indian stock ITC. It didn't even dip in the 07/08 fiasco
Potato has never made me laugh so much!! here are few more: https://bananacoin.io/
I'll have to look into this more myself from what you have shown it does look promising I applaud you for your ability to identify trends and correlations between different markets. Look at the sp500 vs gold price chart and you will see how undervalued precious metals are with the added upside to the precious metals market being one of the best hedges out there in my opinion.
Nice video. ADM is a great company.
In food, the ORG ETF did 40% last year.
Sven, take a look at High Liner Foods Inc(TSE:HLF), a more than 100 years old Canadian seafood brand, it pays more than 4% dividend. With temporarily recall( the company said they will recover the most cost from supplier soon), the stock price went down 40% in one year, I think it is a safe play for value investors.
