Isn't it fun to get the kids involved? As for seedsaving, I let the seeds dry out for a few weeks before storing them in paper envelopes inside a gallon sized ziplock bag with a little bit of kitty litter in it to keep it dry, then stuck them in the fridge. We'll see how well that worked when I go to start seeds this year LOL.
I think I read or heard somewhere that seeds shouldn't be stored in airtight plastic bags, paper envelopes are better. Could be I got some bad info, but just in case, thought I would pass along.
